The company behind our URBAN PROOF brand is U+. As a company, U+ has been allowed to call ourselves a ‘Certified B Corporation™’ (B Corp™) since the end of 2022. This is a certification for companies committed to a better world with consideration for people, the environment and society. With the B Corp™ certification, U+ belongs to a global network of inspiring organisations contributing to a sustainable and responsible society such as Patagonia, Dopper and Ben & Jerry’s. A valuable collective that welcomes being part of the change itself.

How to become a B Corp™ member?
B Corps™ are companies that voluntarily pursue high standards of social and environmental performance, responsibility and transparency. To measure this, the process of becoming a B Corp™ starts with a thorough impact measurement of the entire company using more than 300 questions broken down into the five B Corp™ pillars: governance, environment, employees, customers and community. Achieving a score of 80 or higher certifies your company as a B Corp™. Every three years, each company is reassessed and recertified. This invites continuous improvement and ambitious goals.
